COGA Update | Winter 2014

10 Jul

It’s been some time since our last update, so please, fasten your seat belts and get ready for all the news!

Our Teachers Event in February was another huge success, despite the inclement weather. The event was well attended by teachers and former students, who all enjoyed the opportunity to reminisce their days at Cheltenham Girls. Again, comments were made from the former teachers that they would have LOVED to have seen more former students attend the event. We can only hope that as word gets around about our annual event that more former students find their way to join us in future years.

Our Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Sunday 3 August, to be held at The Epping Club from 2pm. We invite you and your family and friends to join us for High Tea, and to be the first to hear of our big plans to celebrate the School’s 60th anniversary in 2017! Tickets are $25 for COGA members and $35 for all former CGHS students who are not yet members of COGA. Your family and friends are invited too at $25 per person.

We have been made aware of a number of milestone school reunions being held later this year. For more information on these events, please click on the below links:

50 Year Reunion : 1964 Leaving Certificate & 1962 Intermediate Certificate

20 Year Reunion : Class of 1994

Our July newsletter is another bumper edition, packed with more news and information about upcoming important events. All COGA members should have received their newsletter by now. To view the newsletter online, please click here.

We hope to see you at our AGM High Tea in August!
