The COGA 2nd Annual Teachers Event will be held at the newly refurbished Vicars Oval at the School.

Come and enjoy an afternoon of banter and good company at this picturesque facility with the quaint white picket fence, and be the first to find out more about the CGHS school history project.

This is a chance to meet up with your former teachers and fellow students, and Mrs Lyn Langtry who will be spearheading the school history project. The school is providing BBQ facilities for us to cook our own lunches, so bring your family, picnics and goodies for a fun afternoon in the sun.

The teachers who will be joining us on the day are:

Mrs Nancye Harris
Mrs Beverley Westwood
Mrs Lyn Langtry
Mrs Stephanie Frith
Mrs Penny Paolino
Mrs Carolyn Howe
Mr Bruce Jones
Dr Raimond Pohl
Mrs Zenda Spry-Pohl
Mrs Margaret Sim
Mr Robert Palamara
Mrs Marika McLachlan

Also joining us is Mrs Barbara Stannard, who has been a very kind donor to a Presentation Day Award for Art and Music for the past 20 years. The Stannard family has seen 4 daughters through Cheltenham Girls High School, 2 of whom will be joining Mrs Stannard at the event on Sunday.

We hope to see you and your family at the event!

Hello there. I am looking forward to the picnic on Sunday. Just to let you know though, Barbara Stannard (listed above) wasn’t a teacher at CGHS, she is the mother of myself and my 3 sisters, all of whom were students at CGHS in the 1980s.

Thanks for your comment, Jeannette. I have changed the entry to reflect this. Look forward to seeing your family on Sunday!
