News from COGA

28 Jul

We have been very busy bees over the past week.

We have now finalised our newsletter, which has been sent to the printers for our mass mail out. We will be emailing the newsletter to those who have opted to receive the newsletter by email. We hope you enjoy reading the newsletter as much as we enjoyed putting it together!

Please click here to see our newsletter.

After delving through all the drawers and cupboards and boxes and email inboxes for records, our electronic database is now complete. We have just under 800 names in our database, which is a huge increase from the 200 we thought we had!

We are keen to expand our membership, so if you are interested in supporting the Association, please become a member. Annual membership fee is $10 and is an important part of our yearly budget, which assist us in providing a school key ring as a memento to Year 12 students at their final assembly and the annual Citizenship Award presented at Speech Day.

Please click here for the membership form. To become a member, simply download and complete the form, and return it to us by email or by mail. Membership fees can be paid by direct debit (account details are on the form) or by cheque or money order.

We will shortly be creating a Facebook page for COGA. Stay tuned for this exciting innovation!

Welcome to the COGA Blog!

Welcome to the inaugural Cheltenham Old Girls Association blog.

We are excited to announce our recent achievements:

1. We have finally moved into the 21st century and have an electronic database of all current and past members! There are nearly 800 names in our database, and it has been a mammoth task entering the data from handwritten cards to our Excel spreadsheet.

2. The 2010-2011 committee is busy finalising details of an upcoming event, to be held at the school in September. Stay tuned for more information.

Our newsletter is in the final stages of proofing before going to print, so expect something very shortly.

Please keep coming back to see what we are up to.
